Plume Agate from Graveyard Point

This material is one of my favorites.  Graveyard Point Plume Agate.  Graveyard point is near the Oregon and Idaho state line in the Owyhee Mountains area.  Gorgeous plumes in a clear agate.  This bit has some pink plumes which you don’t find very often in this material.  (More prevalent in the neighboring claims) Three gorgeous shields cut from the same slab of yummy rock!

Group Shot

Group Apr 7 2016 web

There’s something gratifying about seeing what I’ve finished photographed together.  Every week I try to take a group shot including everything that was cut and polished that week.  Then I photograph them individually or in little groups.  I enjoy looking back on these photos to see what I’ve done.  In this photo the howlite (white stone) looks very washed out.  Howlite, Black Jasper, Picasso Marble, Dino Bone, Green Goldstone, Rose Quartz, Kaleidoscope Jasper, Graveyard Point Plume Agate, Crazy Lace Agate, Cave Creek Jasper.  Good batch here!

A beautiful Batch

Crazy Lace.  Chevron Amethyst.  Sodalite.  Cherry Creek Jasper.  Black Jasper Coffins.  Indian Paint Stone.  Turquoise.  This is a great batch of stones.  My customers must have thought so too as they sold right away.  I love my job and I’m grateful that people like my stones as much as I do.
