I used to run a sale on IG where I would pick a few stones and you could pick them up for ten dollars a piece for a day.
Well, IG changed their way and frankly, I stopped posting sales on the gram. Instead posting my available stones on my OWN website. I know you have seen these IG issues as well. I enjoy IG, but I’m not a content creator- I cut pretty rocks.
Back to the sale: I’ve got a group listed on my site. It’ll be available Tuesday August 30, 2022. I’ll pull it down the next day. So you can pick up a stone or two for ten bucks each. When it’s over, it’s over till next time. Shipping rates are the same as the rest of the website. If you’re on my email list, you saw an advance photo.
Enjoy the sale, I will try to do it at least once a month now that I’ve figured out how to list the group together. Tell your friends!
I love cabbing turquoise. But I love lots of others kinds of rock as well. I’ve been cutting some really pretty material. Here’s a pic of some lovelies from a recent batch.
Crazy lace agate from Mexico. Labradorite from Labrador. Cave Creek Jasper from Arizona. White Buffalo from Nevada. And of course some turquoise. The coffins were popular- I’ll cut them year round. And I loved the suggestion for labradorite coffins. And the hearts. Love the hearts. And so do a bunch of metalsmiths. And for that I am grateful.
I am so grateful for the beautiful rock that I have the privilege of handling. Sometimes when I pack up an order I experience a bit of envy. This was one of those times. I was really happy with the whole batch, but seeing these together had me seeing green. The metalsmith who got these will make a gorgeous pieces with these. I can’t wait to see them set in metal.
I still go through phases where I’ll cut a lot of one color. Seems to rotate between blues, reds and greens. I’m in a blue phase now. But seriously- look at this batch of beauties!
These were listed on the website and most were claimed quickly. Have a look through the shop for more like these. This turquoise is full of character and I am totally smitten with all of it. 😉
