I love this necklace. It’s rustic. It’s easy to wear. It layers well with your other necklaces. It’s handcrafted to last. It’s a hand drawn heart on etched copper. It’s a hand drawn oval. It’s got a lovely patina on some fantastic texture.
I love to doodle. And quirky little hearts tend to end up everywhere. Translated to metal. Azoho style.

I love this necklace. Hand built start to finish. The stone is howlite. I cut the stone from a little chunk of rock that I have. The grey veining in the stone is really set off by the oxidized sterling. When the stone was shaped and polished I made a simple setting with an ornate bezel. I know it sounds like an oxymoron. I like juxtaposition. Head on it’s simple. The ornamentation is on the side. Hangs on a silver necklace although a part of me always wants it hanging from leather.
Howlite is said to be a stone of awareness with a calming energy. Used to heighten creativity and expand self expression. This necklace and all of it’s good energy is available here.
This is such a fun show. It always looks like both the vendors and the shoppers are enjoying themselves at an ICB and that’s always a good creative energy.
Don’t be fooled by the name. It’s not like any bazaar you’ve been to with Grandma. There are amazing local artists that vend here. Picture this: a pop up shop for one day only. Local artists who make everything from clothes to art to home decor to beef jerky to sweets and of course jewelry. And it’s all handcrafted and sold by the maker. The only exception to handmade are the vendors that have collections of lovely vintage things. So basically it’s a place to have a drink with friends and shop for some of the coolest things around. While there you can grab a bite to eat from one of the food trucks or one of the vendors with specialized goods. Personally the beef jerky is one of my favorites from Helen at Novae Gourmet. We’re generally close to each other so I have the pleasure of nibbles. So grab a friend and come by for an afternoon of good times. The first 100 people in the door get swag bags filled with neat stuff from various vendors including coupons, specials and samples. My contribution is a halloween ring (the kitschy plastic ones) and a scratch off ticket for my booth.
