I really like the simplicity of this necklace. I knew I wanted to add a little pop of color. This necklace features a tube set tanzanite cubic zirconia. Tanzanite is a lovely shade of purple and blue. And just to keep it interesting the stone is set at the unexpected 5 o’clock position instead of center bottom. I think it’ll be a good reminder to not take things too seriously.

I’m a huge Dr Who fan. I regularly make Doctor inspired pieces but this is my first Dalek. Hand drawn and cut from copper this little dude can hang out with you all the time. On an adjustable leather cord and he layers nicely with your other necklaces. Available here. Hangs about an inch. This is a cool piece. Even my teenager thinks so. lol.
A good friend of mine and I have an inside joke about red onions. And I was working on a cave creek (red) jasper and I knew what I wanted to do with it. I saw a red onion. I took some creative license here, it’s abstract. Stay with my train of thought. LOL. I did the lapidary work here. And here’s the finished piece. It was gifted.
This season I’ve decided to only do one holiday show. This will allow me a bit more time with my family. Of course there is new work coming and completed. The show is ICB and it’s on Saturday December 20, 2014 at Revolution Live in Ft. Lauderdale. The holiday show is always a blast. And of course very festive! This is a great opportunity to pick up something pretty for yourself.
